TAĪĪZ, born in Hamburg to a family of Afghan artists, is a DJ, curator and co-founder of the Anaristan Saaz label. With her electrifying DJ sets, she fuses traditional Afghan instruments and Southwest Asian sounds with global club genres such as hip-hop, baile funk and Afrobeat, creating a unique sound matrix that dissolves cultural boundaries.
