Al-Qasar from Paris take the listener on a subversive journey into urban landscapes that are home to both Arabic sounds of North Africa and Western psychedelic rock. They themselves describe their music as “Arabian Fuzz”, most recently captured by Glitterbeat Records on the album “Who Are We?”: an explosive mix of heavy Arabic grooves, global psychedelica and North African trance music.

Live, the psych-rock rhythm section of Thomas Attar (guitar, saz, vocals), Guillaume Theoden (bass, vocals) and Sacha Viken (drums) are joined by the graceful vocals of singer Sibel Durgut .
